Water Bloom

One silhouette of flowing watercolour: colours blooming into each other until they become your cat.

Unlike a classic watercolour portrait, no line is drawn and no fur is painted here. Your cat's whole silhouette is flooded wet-into-wet in one go, so the fur colours flow into each other, separate and bloom with hard dried edges. Where one colour runs into another sits the marking; two dry touches form the eyes in their true colour; at the bottom the colour drips into the paper. Light, fresh and more abstract than anything we made in watercolour before.
