Shipping & Returns

Shipping
Shipping is with PostNL, including track & trace. Shipping costs: €4.95 for the Netherlands — free from €100. We also ship to Belgium (€9.95) and the rest of the EU on request.
When will you receive your portrait?
The delivery period begins the moment you approve your final preview — not at the moment of ordering. We print only once you are satisfied with the final composition, and keep you informed by email at every stage: received, produced and shipped.
Satisfaction guarantee
Not happy with your portrait? That rarely happens, but if it does:
- Within 14 days of receipt: email hallo@pawtraitatelier.com with your order number and a photograph of the portrait.
- We will do it again — a new preview, a different style or an adjusted crop, free of charge. No questions asked.
- Or you get your money back — if the second print does not move you either, we refund the full purchase amount (shipping included) within five working days of receiving the returned portrait.

Would you like to return something? Email us first — you will then receive the exact return address and an instruction. You will find our full company details on the Company Details page.
Returns and the legal framework
Because your portrait is made personally for you at your request, the statutory right of withdrawal (Article 6:230p sub f of the Dutch Civil Code) does not apply to the artwork itself. Our satisfaction guarantee above is our own provision — broader than the law requires, because we want you to be satisfied.
Damage in transit
Does your portrait arrive damaged? Email a photograph of the damage to hallo@pawtraitatelier.com within 48 hours of receipt. We will send a new print free of charge; the damaged copy need not be returned.
