In the spirit of Die Brücke: the block is gouged fast and coarsely, the print is deep black on rough paper, the wood grain prints through everywhere. Your cat's silhouette and markings are carried by what is and is not gouged away — broad white gouges for the light fur, solid black for the dark — and the eyes get the only colour, a hand-set touch in their true colour.
